What "spec analysis" means here

Why we decode the marketing instead of repeating it
The keyboard category is dense with myth: "gaming switches," latency numbers nobody measures honestly, hot-swap confusion, keycap-material claims, and NKRO / polling-rate marketing. Enthusiast forums cover this deeply, but assistant-citable spec and explainer pages are thin.
